About Us

Shasta View Quarter Horse Assocation was founded on the idea of bringing together like minded people and their horses and mules, to create an enjoyable and fun enviroment.  Since our organization was established, over 25 years ago we have endeavored to provide the best Open Horse Show Series in the North State.

Our team is made up entirely of members and volunteers.  We meet once a month to discuss matters involving horse activities, plan our show series, and just enjoy each others company.

We are especially happy to find new members who want to share our commitment to equine activities and the good things this does for our fellow equine owners in the North State. Are you interested in supporting us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!

History

Founding

Several years ago, the current directors of our organization created Shasta View Quarter Horse Assocation to give everyone who is interested, the opportunity to help those in need. Helping the community grew to become a permanent part of the lives of our members.

From the beginning we have strived to make available an open schooling show that everyone could benefit from.  These shows had been held at the Shasta DIstrict Fairgrounds and grew very fast into one of the most well known and well attended schooling shows in Northern California.  Currently BTH shows are held at Cottonwood Creek Equestrian Center in Cottonwood, CA.
